My mother only spanked me twice in my life. The first time, I knew it was coming. She barely touched me and I balled like a baby. The second time (around 5 or 6), I mouthed off while starting to walk away from her and she hauled off with a belt. According my mom, she really gave it to me good and I didn’t even flinch. I'm An Uncle, Sort Of.
So two nights ago and 750 miles from where I am now, Zoey Isabella sprung forth into this world. She was probably crying and screaming, and knowing the parents already fifteen minutes late for something. In full disclosure I’m not actually an Uncle nor will I ever get to be one.
